Harvey Lehtman
 
Harvey began his career at SRI International as a member of Douglas Engelbart’s illustrious research group, focusing on developing key technologies including the mouse, windowed editing tools, hypertext and tools for networked collaboration.   He continued his career at Apple Computer, where he managed several product development and advanced technology groups and served as a manager of strategic planning.
 
More recently, Harvey has been a Senior Consultant at the Institute for the Future (IFTF) where he focuses on emerging global information infrastructures, new media technology and electronic commerce.  He holds Master’s degrees in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, in Computer Science from The University of California at San Diego, and in Physics from the University of Chicago.  He also completed the MIT Sloan School of Management Executive Program in Corporate Strategy.
 
 
Karin Blomstrand
 
Karin specializes in the formation and development of technology-based enterprises, with particular emphasis on identifying executive technical leadership for pre-public early stage companies. Formerly, Karin was a Vice President of Teknekron Corporation, responsible for the company’s investment activity in new enterprises.  In this capacity, she initiated and staffed a group of technology start-ups. She was a member of the Board of Directors of Teknekron Software Systems, now TIBCO.  
 
Prior to joining Teknekron, Karin worked for Apple Computer, where she was responsible for all of Apple II software development. Earlier, she was a software developer at Digital Equipment Corporation and at the University of California At Berkeley.  Karin studied at U.C. Berkeley and she holds her degree in Mathematics.
 
 
Maria del Rio Low
 
Maria is a strategy consultant with extensive experience in facilitating early stage development and growth. Most recently she was a strategic development consultant with the Boeing Company’s Phantom Works Research & Development Division where she was responsible for identifying and incubating innovative businesses that leveraged Boeing’s large scale systems integration capabilities and sophisticated proprietary technologies.
 
Prior to this, Maria focused more broadly on organizational development and executive recruiting in technology and finance in the Bay Area and New York City for more than fifteen years. Maria attended New York University and the University of California at Berkeley, where she received her degree in Political Science.
 
 
Candace Soules
 
Candace is an organizational development consultant and has been building core product teams for technology companies for over 20 years.  Clients have ranged from Fortune 500 to pre-funding startup companies,  with emphasis on software, semiconductor and biotechnology.  She has extensive experience developing and leading recruiting processes and procedures that enable rapid organizational growth, including overall responsibility for staffing, budget, resources, and professional development.
